Following are good sites on the 1,300 mile (more or less) Nez Perce National Historic Trail taken by the Nez Perces on their trek during the War of 1877.

All about the Nez Perce Trail - Welcome, Introduction , Auto Tour, Bronchure, More Related Sites, Bibligraphy, Events Calendar, and Educational Guides which are coming soon. Our daughter-in-law, Sandi McFarland is a Nez Perce archeologist and anthropologist who works for the Clearwater National Forest and was instrumental in setting up this site. It is a collaboration between the Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management and Park Service.
